Ahileshwar temple complex, Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh

T his heartland of India where lifeline river of many states flows is a town setup by Ahilyabai Holkar. In ancient time the place was known as Mahismati. Later it was almost diminished from the mind of the people and then Ahilyabai in 18th century decided to make Maheshwar a capital of her Maratha kingdom, it gained more importance. Maheshwar is worth a study for students of arts and architecture. In fact this visit was made in the 1st year of my Bachelor in Architecture. Nagar style of architecture  The Ahileshwar temple complex consist of  cenotaph and a temple. Complex ascends towards town and descends towards the river through a steps and intricately carved entrances. Women in their Ghunghats takes rest , Men in paghdi and dhoti kurta with a stick in the hand commutes everyday to the river from the town through the complex. Sam Sand dunes Jaiselmer is called yellow city. Not many of the people know about the real jewels of the desert. When you travel to the city the first you encounter is the flat plain desert. Little far from the fort of the Jaiselmer there lies Sam sand dunes where you enjoy the perfect sun set. You just try to walk and walk to catch the sun view which is hidden behind the dunes. At a point when you are actually in front of the sun you just feel the setting sun's dimming light. You can also enjoy jeep safari and camel ride here. Mostly people come to Jaiselmer for desert safari. It is the most enjoyable thing to do here. Sonar Quila The Fort of Jaiselmer is constructed in yellow sandstone and so it is called Sonar quila which means Golden fort. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a living fort till today. Winters Calling ! In India, every festival marks the welcome of a new season or a climate of that region. This diverse country is much more than what we have ever heard of. Festivals are connected to seasons and  colours are associated with every moments and occasions. Sharad is the season of autumn that falls in Ashwin and Kartik month (September - October). It is one of the season before winters. Earth has already gone far from sun so, sun rays have already started falling slant in Northern hemisphere.  Start of an Autumn: It is when cool air starts blowing in dark night and people dance with all joy all night. UBIQUITY! Today, I present you my Photography collection of  what we all share in common and which can not be ever divided, The sky. That little hole behind my phone gives me some of the astonishing views of the universe. "MORNING SHADE" Anand, Gujarat, India Samsung Note 4 This photo was one of the best scene of sunrise that I had ever seen. It was the time when I used to go to college early morning by 6:30 AM bus. Everyday when I boarded bus first of all I used to open a window just a little so that I can see a glimpse of sunrise and very little air could blew in. As time passed sky turned into dense orange and sky blue. Finally, sun rose as always and to have that view I finally open the window and enjoy that mild light, diffusing from clouds and tree branches.
