Aav re varsad - RAIN , Please come !

Children out there on ground awaited for their first rain bath and everyone else were eager to smell that wet soil smell. During rain when you enter a village, on roads and in every common plots kids are seen jumping in puddles and teams fighting over a cricket team on ground.

"Aav re Varsad Dhebariyo Parsad Uni Uni Rotli ne Karela nu Shaak"

This is a proverb every Gujarati would remember saying it every time in their childhood whenever it rained.

The pitter patter of rain drops on roofs of old houses and relishing tea on veranda makes our day more happening in life of  a person whether in office or at home. The view of the horizon gains a touch of beauty and  makes our mind more calm. Be it in any part of our country the season is enjoyed to its full. At the end rainbow is the bonus of the happy time spent.

All students and employee's happy time begins with monsoons. Isn't that true? Most of our festivals fall in this season and if we are fortunate enough due buses get cancelled and a sudden announcement of holiday sends us to seventh heaven.
